Hello World,

You may have noticed that I deactivated my Facebook account. You may ask yourself, “Who the heck is this person and why do I care about her Facebook account?” Well, if you don’t know me, you can safely assume that I never pissed you off by posting crap on social media. I am not that person that likes to piss folks off, but anger likes to go somewhere and it somehow became the voice of my Facebook account, so I had to turn it off. For 20 yrs, my Facebook page has been the voice of the child who was never heard, the child who was ignored, the child who was ridiculed, and the child who raged because of the neglect that caused so many barriers in her life. The child has another outlet to speak now. That will be a discussion for another day. It’s not going to happen on this website.

This website is going to be the manifestation of all that I have wanted to do for the last 20 yrs and was distracted from doing because of my attention to all the social media crap. I’m not currently on Facebook, but if I ever decide I need an account, I will probably just create a new account and hire a social media manager to create content for it. I don’t want anything to do with it.

This website is also a way to protest the AI consumption that runs the algorithms. I want to choose what I explore. I hate the fact that some stupid algorithm is choosing what I get to see. If you want to protest AI, then get off Social Media. Social Media probably consumes more resources than any small business restaurant person using AI to create flyers. All the folks protesting business folks who use AI for marketing stuff are on the wrong path. They are chasing the wrong boogie man. Get off of Facebook. Get off Twitter. Get off TikTok. Let’s choose to explore our own paths. Let’s gather in the green spaces and share life experiences with conversations, food, music, and camaraderie. Let’s have a Social Media exodus to protest all the AI driven algorithms. You are going to be so amazed at what you can discover!!
